Crown Lengthening for Obtaining Biological Width in Dental Restoration: A Case Report

Background: Biological width is a natural defensive space for periodontal tissue which important maintaining healthy so that it can support the success of dental restoration treatment. The localized alveolar bone loss, gingival recession, hyperplasia or combination all three be caused by poor biological restoration. obtained through crown lengthening when teeth have caries subgingival fractures under attachment. crown-lengthening procedure performed to increase height clinical restoring and improving esthetics teeth.
 Objective: This case report presents two cases with osteotomy before procedure.
 Case Report: first was 43-year-old woman who referred from prosthodontics clinic RSKGM FKG UI making permanent restorations on tooth 13. Clinical examination showed red gums, swelling extended especially in distal part. A an distally had good ferrule effect tooth. second 25-year-old female patient undergone root canal treatment general dentist. appearance imbalance zenith next it, looked short. Crown done get balanced height.
 Conclusion: surgical obtain optimum restoration.
